Follow The Master will be screening at Cucalorus Film Festival in Wilmington, North Carolina on Thursday November 12th 1630h at Jengo’s Playhouse. This marks the film’s escape from the UK out into The World At Large.
The festival writes that the feature ‘establishes Hulse as a Scottish iconoclast’ which amuses us greatly.
‘Edinburgh filmmaker Matt Hulse has distilled a simple cinematic pleasure for us all to share … one of the best first features I have seen in some time’ (Scott Macdonald, Eye For Film)

So what’s next for Follow The Master?
The film has been invited to screen as a part of A Pilgrimage.
‘We will pull the Screen Machine mobile cinema on our journey from Kinlochleven to Nairn, over 5 days. Why? To make a pilgrimage for cinema. To bear witness to its wonders. To celebrate walking & film. In tribute to the road movie genre. In tribute to the brilliance of the Scottish land. To show the world that film deserves such an effort.’

Follow The Master has also been invited to screen at the inaugural Abandon Normal Devices Festival which will run from 23rd-27th September in Liverpool.
They have described the film as ‘a highly distinctive take on death & rambling’.
