Dummy Jim, the new British film from writer/director Matt Hulse starring deaf actor and filmmaker Samuel Dore received its UK premiere In Competition at the 67th Edinburgh International Film Festival, 19 – 30 June.

The film received its world premiere as a Tiger Nominee at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in January 2013, only the third British film ever to be nominated. Dummy Jim is nominated for the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature Film, to be judged by an international jury.
